SONGS of SUMMER 2020: WIPEOUT Ah summer, the sound of sandy beaches, tasty peaches, children laughing making sand castles, sitting in summer traffic hassles, and the air thick with smells of salty sea air, Coppertone #2 tanning oil and shiny blonde hair, experienced through an overused wet hospital mask and hazmat suit. Summer… Read more »

A Blast From My Past–Bemus Point Performance
I grew up in a small historic village called Lewiston, NY. About 90 minutes south towards the Pennsylvania border, my aunt and uncle have a cottage on Lake Chautauqua, and I spent many of my summer vacations there jet skiing, fishing, boating, having bonfires, and watching the thunderstorms from the screened-in porch. Somehow or another,… Read more »

The question I get asked the most in my career is “why don’t you have an album/music video out?” The honest answer is because we perform, between corporate and tour dates, over 250 shows/ year. Utah
This year has been one for the books as far as traveling goes for the Femmes of Rock. We’ve soared above the treetops for a view of the Canadian Rockies, swam in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, and even tasted authentic lobster chowder in snow-dusted Maine. This past week, we gathered our gear and headed north for Cherry Peak Resort in Richmond, Utah. The day of the show, we were welcomed by the friendly summer skies and greeted with smiles and warmth by the staff of the resort. Chandra, Nina, Carissa and I hauled our instruments on stage and unpacked (after the rigorous setup by our sound tech)…
